We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role involves performing load calculations, designing electrical panels, and developing electrical systems that meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical load calculations for commercial, industrial, or residential projects using applicable codes and software tools.
• Design and layout control panels, power distribution panels, and motor control centers (MCCs).
• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
• Select components such as breakers, contactors, relays, and fuses.
• Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEC, IEEE, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct panel sizing, circuit protection, and voltage drop calculations.
• Interpret client specifications and project requirements.
• Support panel manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare and manage bills of materials (BOMs).
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Proficient in load calculation tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, Excel-based tools).
• Experienced with panel design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, UL 508A, and IEC standards.
• Familiarity with circuit protection, grounding, and power distribution.
• Ability to create and interpret electrical schematics and layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator and team player.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with PLC/HMI integration.
• Exposure to industrial automation or building electrical systems.
• EIT or PE certification.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling or Revit MEP.
