Role Description

This is a full time remote (US-based) role for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. Occasional travel will be required to the company's site and relocation required in 1-2 years time.

This particular role will be responsible for designing the aircraft's electrical systems in Catia 3DX, creating 2D drawings and 3D models. You'll be working with Systems Engineers focussed on Avionics & Power Distribution systems as well as the aircraft's overall EWIS.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced electrical designer with experience using Catia 3DX to design the above three systems on a fixed wing aircraft.

• 7+ years experience in aircraft electrical systems design
• Experience in the design of power distribution systems or wider EWIS for fixed wing aircraft
• Experience in both 2D and 3D design
• Strong knowledge of fixed wing electrical systems certification standards
• At least 1000 hours on Catia 3DX/V6
