Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $52.00/hr

We are seeking a Controls and Electrical Drafting Engineer to support the development of control system drawings using AutoCAD Electrical. This role involves creating schematics, panel layouts, system architecture diagrams, and assembly drawings, as well as managing databases, BOMs, and customization tools. The engineer will collaborate closely with the controls hardware lead and engineering team to deliver retrofit solutions and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop standard electrical drawings (schematics, panel layouts, BOMs) in AutoCAD Electrical
• Create scripts and automation tools within AutoCAD
• Support control system retrofits for gas turbines
• Draft system architecture, network topology, and power distribution diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical connections and provide technical drafting support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Controls Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and panel design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements
