Innova Solutions is seeking a Technical Designer-Catia for an on-site 6-month contract in Everett, WA. The role focuses on designing RF and digital satellite systems, developing interior payload designs, and documenting requirements across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has CATIA design experience in aerospace, 3+ years in part design, and familiarity with model-based design and manufacturing processes. On-site work offers competitive pay and benefits.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Technical Designer-Catia Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 6 Months with possible extension Location: Everett, WA-Onsite

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Assists to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
• Assists in the development of new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort
• Develops, maintains and modifies interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CATIA design in Aerospace/Aviation field.
• Support within a production/manufacturing system for Aerospace/Aviation Industry.
• 3+ years of experience with Part/product design or integration.
• Experience supporting the validation of compliance to regulatory requirements
• Design for manufacturing (DFM) experience.
• Model based design and/or systems engineering experience.

Preferred skill sets

• Experience working with Visual Basic, Python, Java experience, Model based design and systems engineering, or Relational design.
• Associates degree.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $45/hr to $50/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
