Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician – Electrical to join Facilities Operations. The role centers on maintaining high-reliability electrical systems, including UPS, switchgear, ATS, and emergency power for data center environments.

You will analyze performance, respond to outages, and implement lasting improvements. The position requires strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, NFPA 70E, and LOTO, with hands-on experience in a critical facility setting.

Qualifications

• Trade or military electrical training with related certification.
• Experience with high-reliability power infrastructure in critical environments.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and LOTO safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate critical electrical power distribution and UPS systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
• Lead incident response and root cause analyses for outages.
• Maintain proper operation procedures and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
