Newmark, a leading real estate advisory firm, seeks a Critical Facilities Technician with an Electrical focus to sustain high‑reliability data center infrastructure. You will perform daily operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and urgent repairs across base building electrical systems to maintain 100% uptime in critical environments.

Applicants should have an electrical license and 3–5+ years in data center or mission‑critical settings.

Qualifications

Trade/Military school training, Electrical License, Associate degree in Electrical Technology, or equivalent.
3–5+ years of hands‑off operational experience in a critical environment (Data Centers, Hospitals, Financial Trading Hubs, or Telecom Central Offices).
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical specs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain critical electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, ATS, UPS, batteries, PDUs, and related equipment.
Review control drawings, electrical diagrams, and system schematics to guide operations and upgrades.
Lead incident response and RCA efforts for outages or faults in critical environments.
Maintain documentation including SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
