Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician – Electrical in Omaha to ensure 100% uptime for data center and critical facilities. Focus on high-reliability power, distribution, and backup systems, with emphasis on rapid fault response and safe operation.

The role requires hands-on electrical expertise, system monitoring, and procedural documentation. Shift work, 24/7/365 coverage, and collaboration with engineering teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade or military electrical training required.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• NFPA 70E certification preferred.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on operational experience in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test critical operations; analyze data for uptime.
• Operate Building Automation Systems (BMS) and verify parameters.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per PM schedules.
• Lead emergency response and conduct RCA with long-term actions.
• Maintain procedures (MOPs/SOPs/EOPs) and document work.
