Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled journeyman electrician to install, alter, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Indiana.

You will read blueprints, bend conduit, terminate cables, and ensure all work meets NEC and safety standards. This role requires climbing to heights, using ladders and lifts, and coordinating with a team to complete wiring tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• OSHA safety requirements understood and followed.
• Lock out tag out procedures understood.
• Ability to bend and install conduit per specs.
• Knowledge of wiring methods, grounding, and NEC basics.
• Ability to perform terminations/splicing up to 600 volts.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned job site location on time and organized.
• Organize materials and tools for clean work area.
• Plan and schedule tasks to meet deadlines.
• Identify colors of wires and conductors accurately.
• Direct and train Helpers and Apprentices in safe work practices.
