Job summary

Helix Electric Inc in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Electrical Craft Recruiter to source, assess, and deploy licensed and unlicensed electricians, apprentices, and laborers for field projects. You will work with Field Leadership to align staffing with project demands, conduct in-person trade skill assessments, and lead manpower planning meetings across Arizona sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction or skilled trades.
Experience recruiting field employees, craftspeople, or skilled labor populations.
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's in HR/Business preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical construction trades and staffing environments preferred.
Experience interviewing candidates and evaluating trade competencies.
Ability to build credibility with craft employees, field supervisors, project managers, and leaders.
Experience leading manpower planning and forecasting initiatives.
Familiarity with workforce management and ATS systems (UKG, ProCore, RiskCast).
Knowledge of employment laws including EEO, OFCCP, and related regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel locally to project sites and events.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for electrical craft positions.
Develop and execute recruiting strategies across the Arizona market.
Source candidates via referrals, trade schools, job boards, social media, partnerships, and events.
Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, reference checks, and hiring recommendations.
Coordinate and administer in-person electrical skills assessments and trade evaluations.
Partner with Operations to assess workforce needs and plan recruiting.
Lead weekly manpower meetings with project leadership to review staffing and forecasts.
Maintain communication with site supervisors regarding labor needs and feedback.
Manage workforce planning tools and field labor tracking systems.
Maintain six-week labor forecasts to support staffing requirements.
Coordinate transfers between projects based on manpower needs.
Monitor labor market trends and wage rates.
Advise leaders on recruiting trends and compensation competitiveness.
Build a pipeline of qualified craft candidates for current and future roles.
Support workforce development and diversity recruiting initiatives.
Maintain recruiting documentation and workforce reports.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Track and report recruiting metrics.
