Dakota Supply Group in Dickinson, ND is seeking an Electrical Counter Sales Associate. This full-time, hourly role supports customers at the City Desk, assists with orders, and performs warehouse duties as needed.

The position requires 2+ years of college/technical schooling or 3-5 years field experience in electrical products, and offers ESOP and extensive benefits. Typical hours are 7 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday, with compensation ranging from $18.22 to $30.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Product and technical knowledge from 2+ years of college or technical school or 3–5 years field experience.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• Active listening to determine customer needs.
• Proficiency with computers; Eclipse/ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilitator for customer orders at the City Desk.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional manner.
• Write and fill orders accurately and promptly.
• Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support.
• Restock the counter area and monitor inventory.
• Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
