Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest and commissions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, technical or general business documents.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Basic electrical product knowledge.
• Six months or more of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Determines merchandise type by familiarizing with products and reference materials.
• Uses Eclipse for pricing and order entry.
• Prepares sales tickets with ID and processing information; maintains records.
• Estimates delivery date based on company schedule.
• Pulls and loads customer materials as needed.
• Handles difficult situations with diplomacy; seeks management help when needed.
• Resolves customer order problems promptly.
• Describes/demonstrates products using samples or catalogs.
• Promotes branch and company promotions as directed.
