Job summary

Rexel USA in Easton, MD is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to deliver excellent customer service, assist customers with purchases and process orders efficiently, and support showroom restocking.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service or electrical distribution, ability to drive sales, knowledge of electrical products, and willingness to operate forklift and deliver as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred
• Previous branch experience preferred
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to drive: Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR check
• Must obtain medical certificate within 30 days of hire
• No recent at-fault accidents or suspended license in past 3 years
• HS Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases and processing orders/returns
• Drive electrical distribution sales and develop customer relationships
• Maintain product knowledge and showroom cleanliness
• Inform management of safety or customer-satisfaction issues
• Restock, organize showroom, and assist with branch duties as needed
• May perform deliveries up to 20% of the time
