Job summary

Rexel USA in Woodbury, NJ is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join Warshauer Electric Supply team. Provide prompt service, product knowledge, and process orders, returns, and assist with showroom stocking.

You will drive electrical distribution sales, build new and existing customer relationships, stay informed on product knowledge, and assist with daily tasks. Some deliveries may be required to support branch operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• If required to drive: must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must not have suspended license or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly with purchases and processing orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and building customer relationships.
• Stay informed on product knowledge and communicate hazards or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter organized.
• May perform other duties including inside sales, order filling, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping as needed.
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time.
