Job summary

COMPA Industries in Berkeley, CA seeks an Electrical Coordinator to support the ALS-U project. This hands-on role coordinates electrical construction, relocation, cable management, and testing within active accelerator facilities, reporting to project leadership and collaborating across engineering, safety, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating electrical construction activities in industrial or laboratory settings.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical work planning and execution.
• Ability to obtain QEW certification and RI qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop the electrical scope for relocation and installation of systems.
• Coordinate work across engineering, construction, operations, and subcontractors.
• Lead planning meetings, maintain logs and records.
• Coordinate temporary power, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Perform field verification of electrical infrastructure and documentation.
