Job summary

Cooper-Standard Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to partner with manufacturing for the enhancement of production systems. Responsibilities include supervising electricians, leading PLC maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost performance and profitability.

The successful candidate will have an Associate’s degree in engineering and 3–5 years of experience with electronic controls, including PLC programming. This role requires flexibility for overtime and may include short-duration travel to maintain production uptime.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in electronic controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting and training PLC utilization.
  • Knowledge of ITAF16949 Quality System and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist electricians with electrical control systems.
  • Lead documentation of PLC preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement projects.
