Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an E&C technician to perform electrical maintenance and contribute to new construction across company facilities. You will follow NEC standards and calibration procedures for instrumentation and maintain communications equipment.

Occasional control-center callouts and collaboration with project managers, engineers, and contractors are part of the role. Strong safety and regulatory adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrician.

Responsibilities

• Understand accepted troubleshooting guidelines for PLC, control valves and PLC logic.
• Possess overall knowledge of installation, operation, repair of assigned equipment.
• Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts for emergencies.
• Take care of company vehicle, keeping it clean and organized.
• Report unsafe practices or actions to supervisor.
• Continually look for better and more efficient ways of doing job.
• Maintain lines of communication with supervisor and other employees.
• Make callouts on equipment.
• Work with project managers, engineers and contractors on new construction projects.
• Maintain all controls, monitor alarms and sensor tests.
• Troubleshoot and schedule electrical maintenance for the location.
• Assist PLC programming personnel.
• Supervise electrical contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.
