Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. seeks an E&C technician to perform electrical maintenance and new construction across company facilities. The role requires adherence to NEC standards and calibration of instrumentation, plus maintenance of communications equipment. Occasional on-call duties may be required.

Ideal candidates will read electrical prints, troubleshoot PLCs, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers on new projects while maintaining safety and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and journeyman electrician status.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and calibration/maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and prints.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Understand troubleshooting guidelines for PLC, control valves and PLC logic.
• Maintain installation, operation, and repair of equipment.
• Keep inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts.
• Report unsafe practices to supervisor and follow safety policies.
• Work with project managers, engineers and contractors on new construction.
• Supervise electrical contractors and assist PLC programming personnel.
