Job summary

Enbridge seeks an Electrical Controls Technician I to support the safe, reliable operation of station equipment across our pipeline facilities in the United States. You will develop foundational skills while maintaining electrical and control systems, working with a collaborative, safety‑focused team.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), willingness to pursue technical training, and the ability to follow SOPs, document activities, and assist with more complex tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; may be enrolled in a technical program.
• Strong technical and analytical skills evidenced by training or experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment including switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, and fans.
• Maintain DC systems such as batteries, chargers, rectifiers, and inverters.
• Support maintenance of PLCs and HMIs and related control networks.
• Test safety systems including ESD panels and gas detectors.
• Document operational data and reports per company policies.
• Collaborate with team and assist contractors as needed.
