Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician I to develop foundational knowledge while maintaining critical electrical and control systems across pipeline facilities. You will work with a safety-focused team to ensure reliable station operations and help with continuous improvement.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong technical aptitude, with opportunities to learn PLCs, HMIs, and field devices in a hands-on setting. Local travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; may be in a technical program or apprenticeship.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training or experience.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Willing to assist with more complex tasks and work independently with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to support reliable operations.
• Maintain DC systems (batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters) for continuous power.
• Support control systems (PLCs, HMIs, networks) and field devices.
• Test and maintain safety systems (ESD panels, detectors, emergency devices).
• Document activities and work with the team to ensure compliance and safety.
