Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks an Electrical Controls Technician I to support the safe and reliable operation of station equipment across pipeline facilities. You will develop foundational knowledge while maintaining electrical and control systems in a hands-on role.

You will work with a safety-focused team, perform routine maintenance, and assist with documentation and reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; may be enrolled in a technical program or apprenticeship.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training or experience.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment (switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, fans).
• Maintain DC systems (batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters) for continuous power.
• Support control systems (PLCs, HMIs, control networks) and field devices.
• Maintain and test safety systems (ESD panels, detectors, activations).
• Monitor station operations, alarms, and operating variables; document findings.
