Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I (Electrical Controls Technician I) to keep critical electrical and control systems at pipeline stations running safely and reliably.

This hands-on role supports a collaborative, safety-focused team and offers growth opportunities in a field-oriented environment. You will work with switchgear, motors, PLCs, HMIs, and safety devices, performing maintenance, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years of directly relevant training/experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training or experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to assist with complex tasks and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment at facilities.
• Support maintenance of control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
• Maintain DC systems (batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters) for continuous power.
• Perform station maintenance tasks including inspections, reporting, and compliance duties.
• Collaborate with team and contractors; follow SOPs and support improvements.
