Qualifications

• Must have awareness of PC hardware components, desktop operating systems and office software.
• Strong analytical abilities with troubleshooting aptitude.
• Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate motorized equipment (forklifts, tuggers).
• Self-driven with a proactive attitude.
• Electrical background is required.
• Minimum associate degree or equivalent work experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
• Fix breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete items on the department work list.
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment after maintenance.
• Replace and clean worn brushes and inspect motors and equipment switches.
• Read electrical drawings and work on electrical components in machinery.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
