We are hiring for the position of Electrical Controls Technician at our Warren, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Cut, thread, bend, couple, and strap conduit.
• Cut wire and conduit to length; install, repair, or replace switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, fuses, and extension cords.
• Disassemble motors, generators, and other equipment for repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring, and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Repair and install electronic and programmable Logic Controllers, circuitry, and PC boards into plant machinery.
• Use blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications with electrical tools and measuring devices.
• Interpret wiring diagrams or schematic drawings; develop wiring diagrams if needed.
• Maintain electronic or solid-state controls with interlocking circuits.
• Possess working knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• Strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background with advanced knowledge of CNC machines.
• 5+ years of experience with PLC, VFD, HMI.
