Job summary

SJE is hiring a Technical Support Specialist for the Detroit Lakes, MN location. You will assist customers with technical questions about electrical control panels, process orders, and create BOMs and schematics.

You will also maintain case records and generate reports as needed to support service for our Controls and Level-Sensing Technology products. The role requires strong communication and troubleshooting skills, familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A 2-year degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience are preferred.
• Experience building control panels or electrical components.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via phone or email with technical questions about electrical control panels.
• Process orders and create Bill of Materials and electrical schematics.
• Maintain customer contact and case records using incident tracking software and generate reports.
