Job summary
Nestlé is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead PLC and HMI/SCADA projects at our Dunkirk facility. You will collaborate with plant controls, engineering, and maintenance teams to design, implement, and verify electrical installations, ensuring reliable power distribution and continuous improvement of automated processes.
The role involves developing scopes, upgrading control software/hardware, maintaining documentation, and training maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory
- Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
- Coordinate and implement control system software and hardware upgrades
- Develop and maintain the long‑term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory
- Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as‑built documentation
- Assist in maintenance staff training and development
