Job summary
Nestlé S.A. in Dunkirk, NY is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead PLC/HMI/SCADA projects, design electrical installations, and oversee control system upgrades.
You will work with plant teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement in automated processes and equipment. Qualifications include a bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience in electrical troubleshooting and PLC/SCADA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory
- Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
- Coordinate and implement control system software and hardware upgrades
- Develop and maintain the long-term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory
- Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation
- Assist in maintenance staff training and development
