Job summary

TREW LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to design and implement electrical controls for automated material handling equipment. You will develop specifications, device layouts, schematics and panel drawings, and interact with clients during design, testing and onsite support.

This role requires strong multi-tasking, excellent communication, and the ability to lead projects within a team of engineers and technicians. Occasional travel to job-sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5–7 years of experience designing industrial electrical controls.
• Experience with material handling equipment controls preferred.
• Strong communication and project leadership.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with client and internal teams to define applications and produce specifications.
• Leads training/mentoring of junior engineers and delegates tasks.
• Leads projects with minimal supervision and ensures milestones are met.
• Coordinates design, testing and commissioning of electrical controls.
• Interacts with mechanical, controls, PMs and fabrication teams.
• Develops and maintains project schedules and documentation.
