Job summary
TREW is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical controls for automated material handling equipment. You will lead projects from concept through design, programming, testing and onsite support, serving as the primary technical contact with clients.
You will collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers, manage schedules and resources, and ensure all design reviews, testing and documentation are completed to project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years designing industrial electrical control systems
- Experience with material handling equipment controls preferred
- Strong proficiency in electrical design, panels, schematics
Responsibilities
- Lead design, programming, testing, and on-site support for projects
- Serve as primary technical contact with clients
- Coordinate with mechanical engineering and project management
- Develop specifications, device layouts, schematics, panel drawings
- Conduct on-site testing and commissioning
- Provide customer training and project turnover support
- Ensure documentation and project checklists are completed
