KDF Technologies, LLC is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer in Northern New Jersey to design and integrate complex electrical systems for high-tech vacuum equipment. You will use CAD to create schematics, lead PLC control development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, compliant designs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, 2+ years of electrical design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or electrical technology.
• Proficient in CAD software and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL and CE codes.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design.

Aufgaben

• Design, detail, and integrate electrical components and systems for high-tech vacuum equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design complex systems.
• Size and specify power distribution and protective circuit design.
• Design and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment control systems.
• Create, update, and maintain electrical schematics and cable drawings.
• Interface with customers, sales, and management to define system parameters.
• Apply DFMA techniques for R&D and production.
• Assemble prototype electrical systems and conduct testing.
• Identify and resolve component obsolescence issues.
