Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer/Designer/Technician to join our team. This role focuses on designing electrical systems for food and dairy equipment, with an emphasis on control panel design using AutoCAD Electrical.

Travel up to 10% and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced plant environment are required. The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, provide 5 years of relevant EE experience, and have 2 years of control panel design

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years Electrical Engineering experience related to the design of Food and Dairy Equipment.
• 2 years Control Panel Design experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in high pressure environment.
• AutoCAD Electrical 2017 proficiency.

Electrical Controls Engineer / Designer / Technician

Specialized Skill or Knowledge:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 yrs. Electrical Engineering experience related to the design of Food and Dairy Equipment
• 2 yrs. Control Panel Design experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to work in high pressure environment.
• Auto CAD Electrical 2017 proficient

Physical Environment/Working Conditions:

• Must be able to Travel 10% of the time
• Must excel at multi-tasking and be able to work on Multiple Projects at one time
• Must have experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Must be able to work beyond the basic work hours when needed
• Must be able to work with tools when needed
• Must be able to work within a process plant, including but not limited to climbing stairs, ladders, and working on elevated platforms
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. as well as bend, twist, turn, push, pull
• Ability to hear different noise tones to access operational issues
