Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to design, program, and launch automated systems for major consumer products manufacturers. You will own PLC programming, HMIs, and panel layouts, integrating robots, motion, and vision across multi-platform environments.

You’ll work hands-on from coding to commissioning, collaborating across teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions in fast-paced industrial settings with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Hands-on PLC programming experience in structured text and ladder logic.
Experience designing software controls for diverse industrial automated systems.
Knowledge of AC/DC systems, VFDs, and motors.
Ability to design and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and panel layouts.

Responsibilities

Program PLC-based systems across multiple platforms.
Develop controls software in structured text and ladder logic.
Create and configure HMI/OIT panels and operator interfaces.
Design electrical control systems including schematics, enclosure and panel layouts, and safety circuits.
Providing startup support and system commissioning at customer sites.
Troubleshooting control systems and resolving automation issues.
Collaborating with a cross-functional team and documenting scopes of work.
