Responsibilities

• Design electrical and control systems for industrial process equipment.
• Develop control-panel designs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs using Studio 5000.
• Develop and maintain FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA applications.
• Integrate instrumentation, sensors, valves, motors, and other electrical/control components.
• Review P&IDs and translate process requirements into automated control strategies.
• Participate in FAT/SAT activities and equipment testing.

Our client designs and manufactures sophisticated industrial equipment requiring integrated electrical, automation, instrumentation, and control systems. The engineering team is looking for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between electrical design and hands-on controls engineering.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing the electrical/control architecture but also wants to program PLCs, troubleshoot systems, and participate in commissioning.

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, I/O, and instrumentation
• Experience with industrial automation and process equipment
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and develop controls based on process requirements
• Experience with commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, and troubleshooting
• Industrial/manufacturing/process environment experience preferred
• Ability to travel approximately 25%
