Job summary

Tallgrass seeks an experienced Electrical/Controls Technician to implement and maintain power circuits, PLC systems, and related equipment at pipeline and plant facilities in North Dakota. You will perform maintenance, testing, calibration, and safety compliance across a range of electrical and control systems to support reliable operations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, field tech skills, and the ability to work non-traditional hours with readiness for travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Understand and operate all electronic test instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Know National Electric Codes.
• Estimate installation and maintenance costs.
• Proficient in the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, inspect and maintain electrical/control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers.
• Maintain switchgear and power distribution.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee third-party work and documentation.
