Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, service, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems across pipelines, terminals and plant facilities. You will interpret diagrams, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires working non-traditional hours, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to reliability and operational excellence in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electrical and control systems used in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams and drawings.
• Experience with electrical measurement instruments and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and control equipment, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect and service pumps, compressors, drivers and related systems.
• Document work in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee maintenance performed by third parties when needed.
• Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met in all tasks.
