Job summary

The Reserves Network is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Control Panel Builder in Gastonia, NC. You will assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels and related machinery in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

3+ years of panel-building and schematic-reading experience, UL 508A familiarity, and PLC/drives knowledge are required. This temp-to-hire role offers growth potential and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical/electronic control panel assembly experience; 3+ years
• Industrial electrical experience required
• Read and understand wiring schematics; 5+ years
• Experience with PLCs, drives, and motor controllers; 3+ years
• Manufacturing experience; 3+ years
• Must posses UL 508A experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Recent graduates of a related technical curriculum with hands-on panel building training will be considered

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic control panels, circuits, systems, and equipment
• Read wiring schematics and verify proper wiring codes, terminations, shorts, grounds, and continuity
• Inspect and test completed components to confirm specifications are met
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, equipment malfunctions, and completed machinery during testing
• Identify defective materials, unusual conditions, design concerns, or print errors and report details to the appropriate supervisor
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Job Description

An established manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Electrical Control Panel Builder to support the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic control panels and industrial machinery control systems. This role requires hands on panel building experience, the ability to read wiring schematics accurately, and working knowledge of PLCs, drives, and motor controllers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented electrical professional who can build and wire panels safely, identify wiring issues, and support equipment testing in a manufacturing environment.

The base pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
