What you will do…
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Read electrical and control schematics and assemble and wire panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and/or pneumatic controls
  • Inspect and test completed panels
  • Knowledge of NEC 70E ability to pass Arc Flash training (point-to-point wiring of panels)
  • Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area
  • Work with production team to schedule and prioritize tasks
  • Occasionally support installations at local customer facilities
  • Be able to sit stand and kneel for long periods of time
What you will need to succeed…
  • Availability during core hours of shop operation, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Previous panel building experience
  • Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 79, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools and small power tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and dependability
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be safety conscious
