Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Mid-Career Electrical & Control Engineer (Water & Wastewater) to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA, Lakewood, CO, or Denver, CO, or LA area offices. The role focuses on electrical and control system design for process engineering and water treatment projects.

You will apply NFPA/IEEE standards, conduct analyses, develop technical documentation, and participate in client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Control Engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional licensure (P.E.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and control system designs per specs and standards (NFPA/IEEE).
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, and protective device studies using ETAP/SKM or equivalent.
• Prepare SLDs, schematics, and wiring diagrams for power and control systems.
• Conduct site surveys and meetings with clients and regulatory personnel.
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent project assignments and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support business development, staff mentoring, and publish/participate in industry conferences.
• Travel to client sites as required.
