Job summary

Prism Electric is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations for electrical construction projects across Texas and Oklahoma. You will supervise crews, coordinate with the project team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution.

Candidates should have substantial experience supervising on construction sites, knowledge of NEC and local codes, and strong leadership and communication skills. This role is on-site with the ability to manage multiple crews and schedules in a dynamic

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations on the construction sites.
• Monitor the short‑term schedule.
• Review, and support the hiring needs.
• Quality control & coordination responsibilities with other trades.
• Train, manage and evaluate project team members.
• Assist Project Manager in preparing construction schedules.
• Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
• Maintain daily reports, time sheets, safety and accident reports.
• Coordinate production with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Plan, organize and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs.
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure materials are expedited and received as needed.
• Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
• Communicate project issues to Project Manager.
• Counsel employees and document corrective actions.
• Ensure proper paperwork and counseling before layoff or termination.
• Ensure installations are correct per NEC, codes and drawings.
• Conduct 90-day and annual reviews and end-of-project reviews.
• Other duties as required.
