Job summary

Prism Electric invites a Technical Superintendent to lead and mentor field crews across diverse service lines in a high‑safety, high‑performance environment. The role focuses on coordinating manpower, planning resources, and delivering complex power projects from start to finish.

You will act as on‑site technical authority, review reports, and collaborate with engineers and facility managers while upholding Prism’s zero‑harm safety culture and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of electrical testing and power systems experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership, supervisory, or crew management experience.
• Strong knowledge of low, medium, and high‑voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, motors, ATS, UPS, and PDU systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, electrical safety standards, arc flash requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Willingness to travel throughout the DFW Metroplex and other regional markets.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable all assigned field personnel and technician crews.
• Provide leadership and direction to technicians across multiple service lines and projects.
• Promote a high‑performance, safety‑driven culture aligned with company values.
• Manage multiple field crews and complex power systems projects from mobilization to completion.
• Coordinate manpower schedules and technician assignments.
• Support project managers with planning, resourcing, and execution.
• Prepare labor forecasting, utilization reports, and workforce planning recommendations.
• Mentor Level I–III technicians and provide hands‑on training in testing and safety.
