Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Site Safety Representative to join our Houston, TX office. You will lead safety onboarding, monitor daily activities, and enforce OSHA/NFPA 70E requirements across projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction credential required; First Aid/CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and safety orientation for new employees.
• Maintain visible site presence to monitor activities and enforce safety policies.
• Review look-ahead schedules, job hazard analyses, and work plans to confirm safety measures before work begins.
• Support development and review of MOPs, SOPs, and electrical safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training while coaching employees and supervisors.
• Maintain SDS documentation and support the Hazard Communication Program.
• Lead or assist investigations of near misses, injuries, and safety incidents; complete root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide immediate first aid and coordinate medical attention and return-to-work as required.
• Work with project management, field supervision, safety leadership, and other departments to resolve safety concerns.
