Job summary

Fisk Electric Company seeks a Safety Manager to oversee health and safety for the California Division. The role enforces Fisk Corporate Health and Safety programs in alignment with project safety plans, reports to the California General Manager and Corporate Safety Director, and drives safety excellence across all sites.

Responsibilities include onboarding, training, site audits, incident investigation, and OSHA recordkeeping. Requires extensive field safety leadership and NFPA 70E knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive safety experience in construction, electrical focus.
• Experience with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and apply safety mitigation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and safety orientation for new employees.
• Monitor safety performance across all jobsites in the region.
• Conduct workplace safety audits and correct issues or deficiencies.
• Lead toolbox talks and stand-downs as needed.
• Manage electrical PPE program and site safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regs.
• Develop and enforce safety plans with project managers and superintendents.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and incident reporting procedures.
• Deliver extensive in-person safety training on electrical, fall protection, and more.
