Job summary

Ace Electric in Ohio seeks a Purchasing Agent – Electrical Construction to lead procurement for project materials and equipment.

You will initiate, process and verify purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and support internal teams to meet delivery dates for multiple projects.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in procurement for construction projects, preferably electrical.
• Knowledge of supplier management and PO processes.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and processes purchase orders for project materials.
• Manages purchasing and contracts database and inputs transactions.
• Interacts with suppliers to determine pricing, specs and availability.
• Expedites delayed orders and resolves related issues.
• Coordinates with internal teams to meet procurement needs.
• Assists with PO reviews and revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
