Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent - Electrical Construction to initiate and manage purchase orders for project materials. The role requires coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and alignment with project needs.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience in the construction industry, ideally electrical.
• MS Office Suite, Google Sheets, Spectrum and other software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Initiates/prepares/processes/verifies purchase orders for materials and goods for project.
• Manages the purchasing and contracts database and input transactions.
• Interacts with suppliers to determine pricing terms, product specifications, and availability.
• Expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, or credits.
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure procurement needs are met.
• Assists with coordinating PO reviews, revisions and submissions.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary.
