Job summary

J.W. Didado Electric is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

The role requires coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and internal departments to maximize profitability, safety and client satisfaction while maintaining project documentation and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up including contract review, schedule development, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate closely with the superintendent, foremen, and field crews to ensure work per plans and specs.
• Establish and manage project budgets, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Track costs and forecast performance using project management software and cost reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate overruns through proactive management.
• Review and manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders with estimators, engineers, and GCs.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation including contracts, drawings, and daily reports.
