J.W. Didado Electric is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality.

The role emphasizes profitability, client satisfaction, and jobsite safety. Applicants should bring a minimum of 5 years in electrical project management, with strong NEC knowledge, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up including contract review, schedule development, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with superintendent, foremen, and field crews to ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Establish and manage project budgets including labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Track costs and forecast performance against estimates using project management software and reports.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders with estimators, engineers, and GCs.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation including contracts, drawings, reports, and meeting notes.
