Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from marketing through closeout and customer follow-up. The role requires a proven track record in project management, including profit, supervision, customer relations and contract management.

Responsibilities include planning, cost tracking, estimating, marketing, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to deliver profitable projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction project experience with proven relationships and marketing skills
• Experience with design/build is a plus
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods
• Ability to read, understand, and write contracts
• Experience writing detailed scope proposals
• Proficient computers: Excel and Word; estimating software (ConEst a plus)
• Excellent people skills, communication and negotiating abilities

Responsibilities

• Project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and job closure
• Provide monthly project status detail and percent of completion reports
• Detailed take-off and estimating for electrical service, tenant improvement, light commercial and light industrial work
• Marketing and building profitable jobs
• Decision making on project cost, time and performance
• Cross-selling of other company operations through integrated solutions
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and in-house operations
• Direct and supervise field workforce
• Support an injury-free work environment and safety culture
