Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Manager 1 to oversee small electrical construction projects or portions of larger ones. The role involves administrative leadership, scheduling with Primavera, budget control, and coordination with owners, contractors, and design professionals.

Applicants should have a technical background and may hold certifications such as Security+ or CISSP. A Secret clearance is required, with responsibilities spanning bid processes, change orders, and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required and government security investigation
• Extensive PM experience supervising teams across multiple projects
• Experience with multi-discipline knowledge areas (Fire Alarm, Security, AV, Power) and coordination with GC/engineering firms

Responsibilities

• Assist project Superintendent with documentation, layout, and field office support
• Develop resource-loaded CPM schedule in Primavera
• Coordinate project kick-off meetings and bid procedures
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs; assign costs to schedule
• Read blueprints and prepare project estimates and submittals
• Maintain project budget and ensure on-budget profitability
• Prepare monthly reports on budget, schedule, and cash flow
• Coordinate permits, licenses, and inspections; ensure timely completions
