Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Allentown, PA is seeking a Project Manager for Electrical Construction to lead projects from inception to completion. The role focuses on directing administrative and technical aspects, maintaining cost controls, and ensuring compliance with design, NEC, and safety standards.

You will coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams, oversee staff selections, bid proposals, and project documentation while managing relationships with clients and union

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, project management, business administration, construction management or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience estimating.
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience. Solid project management training and skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total construction and design effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, NEC, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate communication between internal and external project members including GC, subcontractors, superintendents, foremen, and union officials.
• Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including superintendent and foremen selections.
• Provide directions to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
• Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions, payments, invoices, and change orders.
• Assist in safety program implementation and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain all official project documentation and logs.
• Support customer maintenance and other sales/marketing activities.
• Understand labor agreements and standards specific to projects.
