Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a South Bend, Indiana site. You will manage electrical construction projects, schedule resources, and ensure budgets and timelines are met, collaborating with the Superintendent and Foremen to drive project progress.

The role requires at least 4 years in commercial construction project operations, with a potential relocation package. A related degree or CM cert is preferred, and OSHA certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field preferred or Construction Management certificate.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M–$50M.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns to leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, setup, cost control, and change orders.
• Earn client trust through relationships, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Chair project meetings with customers and plan progress updates.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to all team members.
• Understand and negotiate changes within the project contract.
• Review estimates, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Ensure timely completion of all closeout procedures.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on the jobsite.
