Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Construction Manager to oversee electrical systems for a mega project in Boise, Idaho. The role covers distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and substations, with a 12-month initial contract and a 50-hour work week.

You will scrub drawings, manage bids and equipment buyout, own the scope, and drive coordination across all teams. Startups, RFIs, and submittals are part of the responsibilities, with attention to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience on mega/high-tech projects with electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE standards and electrical codes.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 and related tools.
• Experience with bids, equipment buyout, and pre-construction activities.
• Excellent communication to coordinate stakeholders and teams.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks for design coordination.
• Experience managing electrical contractors for 480V distribution; commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, substations.
• Lead pre-construction activities, equipment buyout, and scrubbing drawings.
• Own project scope and ensure documentation alignment across teams.
• Facilitate training, lead startup meetings with large teams, manage submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate customers, subcontractors and regulatory partners.
